Winiarski Ryszard

A painter, creator of spatial forms and stage design.
He was born on the 2nd of May 1936 in Lviv, died on the 14th of December 2006 in Warsaw. Between 1953-59 he studied at the Faculty of Precision Mechanics at the Warsaw University of Technology. During the two last year of his studies he also attended Aleksander Kobzdej’s atelier as an unrolled student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where in 1960 he started regular learning at the Department of Painting. He was a professor at this school as well. In his works of art he combined constructivism with the theory of coincidence. In the 1970s he showed his pieces at the Repassage Gallery. In 1996 he became Jan Cybis prizewinner.
